Folk Artist Cindy Landi was born in Pennsylvania, USA in 1963 and still works & lives there. Her work is inspired by the beautiful rolling hills of her home state. A self taught artist, her ideas come from her own farm and surroundings, and the rolling hills of Pennsylvania and it's colorful countrysides. Her paintings depict simpler times and scenes from times gone by & the tranquil life and times of the early farm families and life in rural villages. With charm and humor, she portrays what is close to her heart and soul, full of color and expectations, warmth, wholesomeness, and old fashioned values. From an early age Cindy knew she wanted to be an artist. She put painting aside while raising her 2 children, but as they grew older & her daughter left for college, Cindy found time to paint again.
